‍These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Coastal Niche Gardens (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accepting a quote or engaging our services, you agree to the following.

Coastal Niche Gardens provides professional gardening services, including:

‍Garden makeovers;
Ongoing garden maintenance;
Vertical wall maintenance

We aim to deliver high-quality work with attention to detail, clear communication, and long-term care in mind.

Quotes & Acceptance

All quotes are:

‍Based on the information available at the time

‍Valid for a specified period (if stated)

‍Subject to site conditions and access

‍Quotes are accepted when you:

Confirm in writing (text or email is fine), to instruct us to proceed with the work

‍Any changes to the scope of work may result in a revised quote.

‍ ‍

Pricing & Payment

We believe in fair, transparent pricing.

Payment terms will be outlined in your quote or invoice

Payment is due within the agreed timeframe

Late payments may incur additional fees where applicable

For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins and/or upfront payment of materials and supplies prior to the agreed commencement date.

Access to Property

‍You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your property so we can carry out the work.

‍ ‍

This includes:

Clear access to work areas

Access to water and/or power where required

Securing pets where necessary

If access is not available at the scheduled time, additional charges may apply.

Changes & Additional Work

If you request changes once work has commenced, we’ll always communicate clearly before proceeding.

Additional work outside the original scope may:

Be quoted separately, or

‍Charged at an agreed hourly or fixed rate

We don’t proceed with extra work without your approval.

‍ ‍

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change.

Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule

‍Late cancellations may incur a fee, especially where time has been set aside or materials have been purchased

‍We’ll always aim to be fair and reasonable.

‍ ‍

Weather & Delays

As an outdoor service, our work is weather-dependent.

We may need to reschedule due to:

Heavy rain

Unsafe conditions

Extreme weather

We’ll communicate early and find the next suitable time.

Plant Health & Garden Conditions

Gardens are living environments, and outcomes can vary due to factors beyond our control, including:

Weather conditions

Soil quality

Pests and diseases

Irrigation and ongoing care

While we provide knowledgeable advice and quality workmanship, we cannot guarantee plant performance or survival.

Materials & Supplies

Where we supply plants or materials:

We aim to source quality products suited to your space

Availability may vary depending on season and suppliers

Substitutions may be required, with your approval where possible

Liability

We take care in the work we do and respect your property.

However:

We are not liable for pre-existing issues or damage not caused by our work

We are not responsible for damage caused by factors outside our control (e.g. weather, pests, third parties)

Any concerns must be raised within a reasonable timeframe after service

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the services provided.

Safety

We prioritise safety for both our team and our clients.

We reserve the right to:

Stop or postpone work if conditions are unsafe

Refuse work that presents a risk to people or property
